MEET OUR PASTOR
|
Dr. William Chegwin, (Pastor Bill) has served churches in the hills of Pennsylvania, the Finger Lake area of New York State and the First Presbyterian Church of New Smyrna Beach Fl. The churches are doing well and growing. The Lord has blessed!
Pastor Bill was born in Colombia South America of Presbyterian parents immersed in the biblical theme of the "Great Commission". The Presbyterian Church, a mission church at the time, felt compelled to bring to the people the evangelical message of Christ's saving grace.

His educational background includes his first degree in electronic engineering at the Temple University in Pennsylvania. Bill's career plans took a dramatic change when Christ's call to the ministry became an overwhelming reality. He was ordained a pastor in Philadelphia in 1966. Other Educational background include Eastern University, PA. Shippensburg University, PA, Princeton Theological Seminary, NJ, Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, PA and Columbia Theological Seminary, NC.
INVITATION TO THE CHURCH
Pastor Bill and his two grand children have a good time doing some rollerblading. The pastor and the Upsala Presbyterian Church invite you to visit us and have a great time. Our worship services are festive and spiritually meaningful. We worship in a traditional way but with a great deal of informality.
When you come you will be warmly welcomed. We are a small church with big dreams and a with a missionary spirit. Our Community has grown by leaps and bounds and we are doing our best to share with them the joy of the biblical faith that is so real to our members

Our invitation to you includes the fervor of Christ and his love for you. He died on the cross to bring us salvation, and to totally transform our lives. It is our hope that through the ministries of this church, we can share with all, the amazing love of Christ and the practical applications of the faith.
